Shoe's should fit just right.

By Jeff Cline

Shoes can be a women's best friend and her weakness. Tons of money is spent on shoes everyday of the week. If there is one item we splurge on it is our shoes. We can not get enough of the, and the more fashionable the better!

But have you ever considered how a bad fitting shoe can effect your well being? I bet not too often. Everyone should realize that a bad fitting shoe can ruin your posture and cause severe muscle strain . It could have walking like a 100 year old person in no time.

As cute as the pointy toed shoes are, I must say this, "stay away". Any time your feet are scrunched up this is not good! Your shoes should have good support as well. They should be appropriate for the kind of activity you plan to do.

From time to time our feet change, all through out our lives. So it is wise to have your feet measured each time you are searching for shoes to get a proper fit. Over time your shoes fit changes as well. After awhile they stretch and lose some of the support they once had.

Another good rule of thumb is to shop for shoes at the end of the day. Our feet tend to swell in the mornings and on hot days, making the fit of shoes inaccurate if you shop during those time. How many times have you bought a pair of shoes, only to find they do not fit well later?

Have you ever seen the adorable shoes that women crunch there feet into? Well those pointed toe wonders are really bad for you! If you wear shoes that make your feet do things it is not suppose to do, your looking for a problem.

Big surprise, flip flops and slip on's are hazards. Not such a big surprise, right? Emergency rooms see people all the time that slipped and tripped over these shoes, sometimes causing major injuries. And the have no protection for your foot, you might as well go barefoot.

Most women love to wear high heels when we get dressed up to go out. We love the way they make us look. Have you ever had a back ache the next day after a night out with high heels? The reason is because it effects our gait causing stress to our knees and back.
