The number one genre is dress up! I don't know if it's because of the fact that girls have less categories that appeal them then boys or just that they really love playing but that genre is extremely loved.

So what are dressup games, i guess some of your didn't play those games before, well Dress up games are like dolls for girls except you dress them up online. Dress up games are a basic introduction for younger girls first encountering the world of Internet and computers, which is a good value for those girls that usually don't approach computers, a thing that might be a disadvantage later on, compared to younger boys that have lots of interaction with the online games and computers.

The tech-support people know this, and they brace themselves for anything. They will receive callers that range anywhere from the stark beginner who has not taken the computer from the box all the way to a seasoned hacker whose PC has been totally disassembled and desoldered. You could make the task of a tech-support person a lot easier just by doing a little research prior to calling. And this means that they can help you much faster. Let us take a look at how.

The first thing you can do is to determine who owns the problem and narrow a few things down. Is the problem a hardware or software issue? This way, you can call the proper department in the first place. Try as many solutions yourself as possible. Tech-support people will be blown away if you have already looked in the Device Manager or worked in the System Configuration Utility. They may have you look there again. If this happens, be patient as they are typically following a script and must check things off before taking you to the next level.

Determine whether the problem is repeatable. Be prepared to demonstrate to tech support that the bug is not random and can be reproduced. Be prepared to give lots of information, so do your homework before you call. Review and accomplish any steps in the troubleshooting section of your operator manual and collect as much information from that experience as you possibly can. Just make sure not to spit it all out in one sentence to the tech-support person as they will need to become acquainted with your situation and it will take a little time for them to catch up. But do have the info ready when it is asked of you.

From the System window you can get basic information about your computer.

You also find in the System window other useful information for technical support, including information about your PC processor and memory and other trivia. You do not have to cough up all the information displayed in the System window. Just make sure and not complicate things, only provide what the tech-support person asks from you unless you have good reason otherwise.

Windows may not be the problem. It may be some other program you run. In that case, you may need to tell the tech-support person which version of that program you are running. This information is not the same thing as the version number for Windows; each piece of software has its own version number. To reveal the version of any particular application, select the Help About command. The About command is generally followed by the software name. That command will display a dialog box with the full name, release, and version of the program. And who knows, you might even be lucky and discover a quick button to click for connecting directly to tech support.

The same idea works for your mascara. When mascara gets too cold, it gets thicker and clumpier and while thick might be the look you want on your lashes, clumpy definitely is not. To fix the problem, simply use the same trick you used with the eyeliner. Your body temperature will warm up the mascara to perfection in no time. It might take a little bit longer than the eyeliner, but it will be worth it when it goes on your lashes smooth and clean.

The key to beautiful lashes is a nice curl to them. So my final tip will help you get a great curl in your lash. Just like previous tips mentioned, getting the right curl involves warming your eyelash curler. You wouldn't expect your hair to curl on a cold curling iron would you? Just as your hair curls best on a warm curling iron, your eyelashes will curl best on a warmed eyelash curler. You can use your body heat to warm your eyelash curler too.

Sometimes, when I don't have much time, I will use my blow dryer to warm the curler. Be sure to just use it on low heat for only a few seconds and then test the curler to make sure it is not too hot so it doesn't damage your sensitive eye area. Using 50ml per application, the average high street hair shampoo provides approximately 6 applications per 300ml bottle. With just 10ml used per application, the professional salon hair shampoo gives you around 30 applications per 300ml bottle. Doing a little math, the cost per applications are $0.64c/GBP0.32p for the cheap high street shampoo, and $0.66c/GBP0.33p for the salon professional shampoo.

Result: although the high street shampoo appears to be better value, in truth there is very little difference in cost compared to the professional hair shampoo. The professional shampoo is of much higher quality and more effective in cleaning your hair. Buying cheap high street hair shampoo is a false economy. Q? Because it's a folding castle you can remove it from the box and unfold it, without having to put pieces together. Then you decide where to put the turrets and towers and you're all set to play. Oh, in case you're wondering, the turrets and tower can be moved around.

Weighing in at about 15 pounds, the Melissa and Doug folding princess castle is very lightweight. Folding and unfolding it is easy and you can scoop this thing up in a jiffy. It's not inconceivable for your daughter to pick it up herself and move it around.

The creators of the castle were smart, because pink happens to be many little girls' favorite color, so all the pieces fall into place to make this gift a winner.

Just like my wife's Macbook, the Melissa and Doug folding princess castle holds the flag in place with a magnet, which makes it easy to remove. And just like the power cable to my wife's computer, you can break it off! The flag is pretty small, which is why I wouldn't recommend this castle if your kids are under 5 years old. No one wants them to put stuff into their mouth and potentially choke.

The folding princess castle is not only portable, you can move around a lot of the parts, including the towers, turrets, dungeon, etc.. You've got balconies that can hold multiple figurines, a big courtyard, a magnetic flag, a drawbridge that raises and lowers, you got it all. I think some of the staircases move, too.

Slow Computer Fixes - Speeding Up A Virtual Machine

With the increasing popularity of Virtual Machines comes an issue that many may not be aware of. This problem is an age-old issue that has affected systems from the very early days of storage. It can cause hard drive failure leading to expensive data loss scenarios necessitating data recovery professionals. This problem is, of course, fragmentation.

Just like any other software virtual machines still require (unless you have a very specialist setup) to be run from the hard drive, which is still and probably will remain so for many years to come, the slowest part of your system. Drives can be broken in sub parts know as partitions which can then be utilized as a different drive so to speak but hard disk fragmentation is still an issue.

Fragmentation occurs on all hard drives and is part of the way the operating system stores the data on a disk. It won't lay it down nice and neatly in one continuous block, but will lay it wherever there is a space. One file could literally be split into many separate places on the hard disk and this is fragmentation. If you have one OS running it can be bad but if you are running virtual machines the problems is far more serious.

What is more, the premature wear that all of this fragmentation can cause to the hard disk storage can dramatically reduce the useable life of the storage below. Even complex, high performance, RAID arrays can be reduced to a snail like crawl due to high levels of fragmentation. If this problem starts to show itself on a number of the storage devices in any array you could be left with a situation where data recovery is your only option.

You would like to think that as the problem of file fragmentation has been with us since the advent of hard drive based computer systems, operating system vendors would have come up with a software solution to ensure the problem is eradicated at source. Whilst Mac OS X will partially help with files under a 20 mb size, Windows operating systems seem to pay it no heed whatsoever.

Utilizing defragmentation tools can help to alleviate the problem but often the use of some of these tools is very invasive and will render your system virtually unusable while they are running so what other options do you have.

Fortunately we are not left to the operating systems alone as there are a number of third party defragmentation applications that are far superior to the inbuilt OS tools. These can be scheduled to run when system usage is very low for example whilst the system is idle or the screen saver is running. As you go defragmentation is my personal choice.

Invest in dedicated hardware. Not the cheapest solution but for business and power user home systems probably the most sensible route. Dedicated hardware could be an additional hard drive (internal or external) a dedicated raid array or even an SSD device. The actual solution will depend on how mission critical the application actually is.
