The Tuxedo Makes The Lady's Man

By Victor B. Sancharo

A well-dressed man with impressionable etiquettes is a sure turn-on and a show-stopper wherever he goes. When a man is labeled as a "Lady's Man, you can be absolutely sure that he would be a well-dressed and a chivalrous one at that, a perfect recipe to win the hearts of the fairer sex. It would not be out of context to bring in the topic of tuxedos here.

Tuxedos have existed for ages and will not vanish from the fashion scenes, at least not in the immediate future. James Bond characters exemplify the popularity of tuxedos and all are aware of how he sets the female hearts aflutter in every movie that we see.

A tuxedo falls into the category of formal party wear and is usually black with satin lapels. Most are single breasted, and these are preferred for light informal occasions with a simple classic look that spells elegance and accomplishment.

A room full of men in black tuxedos is the norm at many events and it can be hard to spot your man in the sea of suave and debonair looks.

The black ones are most famous in European countries. Once I met a person in black tuxedo and asked him why he was always wearing black tuxedos to parties. He just replied to me by saying that he wears them all the time because they are attractive to all sorts of people. He said that if you want to please everybody you meet than black will certainly do the trick.

The accessories that go with tuxedos cannot have a raw deal. They have to complement the outfit and be tastefully chosen. There again, if you are going for gaudy and heavy-set, you will stick out in a party like a sore thumb. Go for very light and delicate designs preferably in platinum which does not shine too much and at the same time is noticed and lends elegance.

Shirts should be simple and pastel shades are most in favor, with a flat finish that doesn't distract.

And don't forget the tie. It should be darker than the shirt to get noticed against the pastel shade.

Hair should be neatly trimmed and brushed, but do not go for elaborate styles.

Shoes have to be necessarily black for black tuxedos. Do not go for severely shaped ones, because if you have to look informal and casual, they had better be informal too.
